Course Outline
This one-day course is designed to help Regulatory and Technical teams gain a firm understanding of Canadian Labeling and Nutritional requirements.
The primary audiences would be:
- Sites seeking an understanding of what the implementation needs are
- Sites what to know what the changes are and how it affects their company
- Understanding provincial vs international implications
- Understand what is meant by mandatory and voluntary food label information
- Understanding what types of health claims are allowed in Canada and what are the requirements to meet.
- Each requirement will be addressed either by discussion questions or exercises.
